The Calgary Eye Foundation is pleased to support the Ophthalmology community with research funding.
Applications are open to medical students and ophthalmology residents, fellows and faculty.
Available funding: 6 X $2,500 grants for Residents/Med Students, 2 X $2,500 grants for Fellows

Objectives
The general purpose of the Research Grant program is to support research and develop excellence in ophthalmic research activities.
The specific objectives of the program are to:
- Support resident’s research needs tied to their residency training requirement
- Support research in Calgary that will advance Calgary’s Ophthalmology program
- Contribute to the development or expansion of new academic or practical approaches to ophthalmic research;
- Maintain and develop strong disciplinary research activities
