CONGRATULATIONS to Dr. Paul Huang, graduating resident of 2020
Message from Paul:
The Eye Foundation has been supporting my training since a medical student and throughout the entirety of my surgical training. For instance, CEF supports the Division of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences Annual Research Day, which I have had the opportunity to present at 6 times. CEF provided support by way of the EyeSi Surgical Simulator, helping me grow as a surgeon and successfully complete roughly 1000 cataract cases during my residency. I have presented at conferences all over the world, from the ARVO Conference in Hawaii to the World Ophthalmology Congress in Hong Kong, because of CEF. There are countless other endeavours that our resident group has had the privilege to participate in because of the Eye Foundation and our Ophthalmology group, and I am forever indebted to the surgeons of our section, and our administrators and donors at the Eye Foundation for supporting our trainees, which ultimately benefits vision and surgical eye care for Albertans and Canadians. Thank you.
