We are pleased to have Cory Mack join us at the Eye Ball as our emcee for the evening.
Headliner Cory Mack will join the Eye Foundation’s Eye ball gala and deliver a fun, social vening with her fellow Albertans.   Cory Mack is a clean, funny comedian and storyteller with a unique brand of prairie sass at corporate events, community events and women’s groups. She’s been a hit as a headliner and MC with audiences across Canada for over 20 years. Originally a farmer’s daughter from Dodsland, Saskatchewan, Cory Mack has called Calgary home for over  years.
Cory Mack has starred in her own Comedy Now special; she’s been featured on CBC-TV’s Western Alienation Comedy Hour and the Comedy Network’s Yuk Yuk’s Komedy Stampede, CBC Radio’s Madly Off in All Directions, The Debaters. Cory has performed at Just for Laughs International Comedy Festival and been nominated for two Canadian Comedy Awards.

 

The Eye Ball will have 4 Stages – with amazing local performers to entertain throughout the evening.

Gerry Hebert

Come hear the beautiful saxophone sounds of Gerry Hebert.

An active musician and educator, Gerry is a founding member of the Swinging Bovines, a professional concert touring saxophone quartet.    Gerry started the saxophone at age 11. His initial music experience came through school bands in the northern Alberta town of Fort McMurray. With over 15 years of professional performing experience behind him, Gerry is very active throughout the musical community and in demand as a performer.

Mylena

Jeziah and Mylena – piano, vocals and guitar

Performing 4 songs at The Eye Ball! We are excited to be showcasing this young local talent at our gala fundraising event.

Jeziah, 15 years old, is a Winnipeg born performer who enjoys singing, playing piano and songwriting. She is a member of her high school vocal jazz ensemble, show choir, choral music, musical theatre group and dance club choreographer. She has competed and performed in several events such as Choral Fest, Filipino Fine Arts Gala and the Stampede Talent Search.Jeziah

Mylena, 13 years old and also born in Winnipeg, enjoys singing, songwriting and playing guitar. She is a guitar and bass player for her junior high Jazz and Show band, glee club leader and active in dance and musical theatre. Mylena has performed at the Filipino Fine Arts Gala and the Stampede Talent Search.

Kaitlyn Ho –    Gu-Zheng musican

So excited to announce that 11 year old Kaitlyn Ho will be playing at The Eye Ball!   She’s been playing the Gu-Zheng since she was 5 years old. Already in her short professional career she is winning awards for the beautiful music she plays

Mark is a local artist and entrepreneur that founded Color Club in 1991. After graduating from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Mark had a vision. He wanted to establish a one-stop multi-media design studio which provided “outside the box” solutions for his clients.
Since establishing Color Club, Mark has worked on exciting projects with numerous corporations including, The Calgary Stampede, Suncor Energy, Starbucks, Big Rock Brewery, Franworks (Original Joe’s) and many more around Calgary and Western Canada.
Mark is an award-winning artist and illustrator working in many different mediums and styles. Mark has worked for 20 years as a professional artist.
